Seriously what was the reasoning again? I understood and defended the turf sprint, especially now that seemingly 1/2 the races run are turf sprints but what was the need to add a race that is only run in this country for starter 5k claimers? I wasnt opposed to the turf races for 2 year olds. But the Marathon is a total outlier.

I'd have liked him a lot more if Sea The Stars ran and things went swimmingly for Rip Van Winkle leading in.
