King Glorious, given the work, would you send Girolamo to the Cigar Mile? It doesn't sound like he's that happy with the surface.....he usually works much better than this. Is it possible perhaps Godolphin wanted to put a stiff work into him because he's inexperienced?

I assume you mean Girolamao and not King Glorious? The colt is one of my favorite horses and he's got a lot of questions surrounding him. I respect the opinions of posters on the board and so I ask ?. I hope that's not a problem? I have a few other favorite horses, but I don't need to ask ? about them because they are fairly solid.

I was hoping the obsession was with me. I was flattered. Oh well. As for the horse, I would still enter him in the Classic. I've never been a big work guy in as far as them being indicaters of how a horse will run and with all of the comments I've heard from trainers about SA's surface, there seems to even less correlation between works and races.

He's not a poly horse. He could get a piece on that turf course. Not on top though.

TVG showed a 1 mile work on yesterday's "The Works" and he was being whipped in the lane (three times on the hind)

Now, this probably had alot to do with the surface but maybe it was the wrong horse on TVG?
