Before you guys say anything about the Roster, it is a 14 team league so the waiver wire is bare, Kellen Davis is on my team as a bye week replacement and I am dropping him his week for Detroit's D because Pitt is on bye and 49ers are against Indy.

Within the trade, I am really planning on Benson shitting the bed, and his schedule isn't very easy either. PLUS, and this is kinda important, he has a bye this week, so I couldn't use him this week anyways, where I am essentially getting two players I can USE this week.
Thats a pretty good team

I'm even better set up for next year as I will get to choose between these players as my 15th and 16th round picks for next year

Maclin, Jeremy WR PHI
Bennett, Earl WR CHI
McCoy, LeShon RB PHI
Davis, Vernon TE SF
Crosby, Mason K GB

Probably Maclin and Davis...In a 14 team league next year, those two will go 4th or 5th round probably

I hope for your sake that Fitzgerald has an amazing second half cause otherwise you are in big trouble. With Westbrook's concussion I see him splitting carries the rest of the year leading you to a frustrating decision every week. Meanwhile, Benson is a sure play every week. A sure RB is always worth more than sure WR.

You don't think teams are going to start stacking the box on him, I sure as hell do. I can start 3RB's and probably will if they will split carries....

Palmer has done well enough that I don't think stacking the box is a great option. To be perfectly honest in a 14 team league I might think about grabbing Scott again in case Benson gets injured. Then you get the perfect scenario.

You're a Bears fan, huh? So you can't accept the fact that Benson was a raging alcoholic while he was there and has since got his life in order? Is that why you don't want to believe in him? As an unbiased non-Benson fan I think he will continue to do very well but I would totally hold onto Scott in case he gets injured. So many teams want to split carries these days, if you luck into a starter that is going to get all the carries it could win you the league.

It has absolutely nothing to do that, he has been my saving grace. I just think he has peaked. He hasn't played a full season in a while either.

Fact is that I bought low (6th round pick) and I sold high (got a first and 2nd round). I believe that both the guys I got will have the 'stats' at the end, especially Fitz. To be honest, it was getting Westbrook AND McCoy that solidified the deal because Reid doesn't 'share' carries, he goes with one guy and spells the other. And I have also set up my team for what is a 17 week league. The fact that they both are readily available in the passing game is also another plus.

The pass sets up the run in Cincy, at least so far.
