Well that depends -- do you want a Keeneland staff member to pick out your prize (tshirt?) from the gift shop? Or do you want to live it up in the Bluegrass room for one day (as long as it is NOT Saturday!). Since you are playing for pride, go for the longshots and win it all! (And don't worry, it won't cost you a Saturday).

It says prizes to top 10 (possible t-shirt) and $3000 to top point getter. Is that right

you know, I didn't see that before! But here is where I got my information, in the legal mumbo jumbo section of the rules:

At the conclusion of the Handicapping Challenge on Saturday, October 31, after the last live race, the player with the most Challenge Dollars in his or her imaginary bankroll will be declared the winner and will win his/her choice of a Grand Prize-(1)-a day at the races during the Spring 2010 race meeting (table for four in the Bluegrass or Equestrian Room; plus food and beverage-excluding alcohol, a gift bag, and a behind-the-scenes tour; any race day EXCEPT Saturday) or (2)-merchandise selected by the contest administrator from Keeneland Gift Shop. The Grand Prize winner also will win an online subscription to a selected Equibase or Trackmaster Product. Players who place second through tenth will win a gift selected by the contest coordinator from the Keeneland Gift Shop. Winners will be notified within three weeks of the contest close about collecting their prize.

no where in there does it say anything about $3,000. Now I don't know which end is up!!!

Also another thing I hadn't noticed before, is that each DAY a winner is selected to receive a fabulous gift shop prize. And all those times I finished in 2nd I had no idea just how close I was to being a winner.

5 days left to shoot for one of the prizes. If you are in the running for the Grand Prize, I suggest you contact Keeneland ASAP to confirm just how excited you should be.
