i recall the story a few years back about a very talented lsu football player. they discovered he had pretty bad vision...why he hadn't told anyone is another question/story. at any rate, he got lasix surgery. first thing he did after was break up with his girlfriend!

Sounds like a really bad excuse for doing something wrong and tearing apart your family.

Would be like me robbing a bank and saying I have an addiction to money, but I am checking into rehab to get help with it.
