It would have been nice to see the transit system overhauled and I could have rented my house for about ten grand to Europeans who wanted to watch Olympic golf at Medinah, but oh well..

I really don't like Daley and would have loved to see the look on his face when they said Chicago was out. Oprahs too come to think of it...

They are going on and on about it on the news....get over it already, chicago is acting like a hick town. People have filled the streets, gimmme a break. Yeh, come to the chicago olympics athletes and compete for your life.

The corrupt Chicago thugs spent all their bribe money buying the White House.

Chicago is the most corrupt city in America and I am thankful they are the laughingstock of the world right now.

I can't wait to see how Obama and Oprah try to blame this on Republicans.

Rio is one of the greatest cities in the world. Chicago is one of the better cities in the United States. The Olympics have been in Japan, Spain, and America. They've never been in Brazil. I'm sure there is some explanation why some think Brazil shouldn't have been the winner, but I think the people in the other three cities were sort of wasting their money. They're nice cities, but Brazil has never had the Olympics. The question shouldn't be why Chicago didn't get it. The question should be why Brazil shouldn't have gotten it, because I don't think people thought about that enough.
