every experiment this ******* has had for coaches has failed miserably. the lions are no longer the laughing stock of the nfl, the skins are, and now danny boy can see it clear as day.
zorn's gotta be out, gotta be. doubtful they get someone off the street to replace him either, i can see blache being the interim coach and danny boy yet again going out and getting another "name" in the off season. i mean lets face the facts, zorn was NEVER in line for the head coaching spot in the first place. Him and blache came into run the offense and defense, but when daniel son couldn't find a coach after interviewing 10+ (tons of big names interviewed for this spot, pete carroll, greg williams, jim fassell, jim mora, etc.) for the position he just promoted zorn. When they jerked williams off the way they did, it was pretty much the last straw for me, the guy stayed b/c the franchise had him next in line behind gibbs, thats the only reason why he stayed (he had other offers that im sure of). And sure as sh!t when gibbs steps down, that word isn't worth sh!t. http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=090...o&confirm=true having him and vinny cerrato in the front office could be the worst combo in the history of the nfl, vinny brings them in, daniel pays them, they do nothing for the team, they leave with a pocket full of cash, its been a pretty solid cycle since danny got here. never thought i would say this, but i'm embarrassed to call myself a skins fan now a days, snyder has ruined this franchise sorry for the vent -bt- |

maybe the play calling would work if he had people who could make the plays. six head coaches in the last ten years, god knows how many coordinators. it's not the coaching that's the problem. the whole program is the problem, and we all know who's responsible. jerra jones jr. |

snyder needs to make a move, now is just as good as later. the season won't get any better under the current regime. i like zorn, i think he may turn out to be a good coach, but i think he should have had more time as a coordinator. i don't think he's ready for the head coaching job as yet.
snyder needs to hire a coach (holmgren ready to coach again) who has achieved success, and knows how to build a staff and a team. it takes time, but snyder needs to hire the right person, rather than hope he's hiring the right person. he needs to be patient, but he needs to have the right folks in there to be given the gift of time. deep pockets alone are not enough. the d is fine, we need an o. as you said, i'll support them-it's all i know! |
