IT IS THE PRESEASON.

Personally, I think Packers and Bears fans love the fact that the Vikings got Favre, the Bears have owned him in his late years, and the Packers game will be epic because that defense is going to be so fired up, and Favre, regardless of what he says, wants to beat them BAD!!

So what I wanted to say was that I think Favre will do more harm then good

Bears are getting burned in the secondary. But I'm going to put that in the IT IS THE PRESEASON category, NOT!!!!. Granted what the Packers have played have been creampuffs so far, but so is the potential on the schedule. I'm going to go with Dom Capers history and their personel.

Actually I give them some credit for last night. The easy thing would have been to shut down the passing game just to make Favre look bad and let Adrian Peterson dice them. Instead they put forth the best strategy to win the game, namely shutting down Adrian Peterson better than anyone in 14 games and making Favre beat them. The officials took away their one INT on a terrible interference call and the D even came up with a TD. The Packers problem was not their defense. It is the giant gaping hole at LT. I thought #73 was the worst lineman I had ever seen, thought that at least until he got hurt and his backup came in. Egads. They should go sign Langston Walker, Jon Runyan, and Levi Jones. Between the three of them maybe they could find something better than an open door at left tackle.

that was a TERRIBLE pass interference call. Thought of Coach Pants immediately as that screwed his bet.

Definitely agree the Interference call was terrible, but there was an offsides penalty also. The Defense is not the reason the team is 2-2 in fact they are definitely the reason they beat the Bears in Week 1. Their run defense is definitely upgraded from last year. They are #1 in takeaway differential. #2 in actual number of turnovers. The only problem there is they have the same problem with the Bears and what I saw from Pitt-SD. They are going for the strip first before the tackle and that could lead to disasterous consequences.

That offensive line is downright horrible. 61, 46, 99, 51 for Grant on the ground and the 99 came from St. Louis.

Favre threw for 271 yards on 24-31 passing with 3 tds. If they didnt get up big, he would have gotten over 300 easily. That defensive performance was not good. You stack 7-8 in the box against any back and he is going to have a hard time running. Favre had been sacked 9 times leading up to last night. The pack didnt get him down one time. This from a Dom Capers defense.

Green Bay's defense has been poor for every game except the opener when Cutler was suffering from color blindness. Even in that game, The Bears outgained the pack 352-226 and Cutler threw for 277 yards. Even against the Rams...the horrible rams with the horrible kyle boller...they gave up 2 td passes and 336 total yards.

I understand you guys are fans but you have to take your head out of the cheese wiz. There are serious problems with that secondary and they just arent getting enough pressure to hide it.

Looks like a got a lot right in this thread Wiphan

As far as the Packers, they are playing stellar football and I don't see any reason why they can't go back to AZ and repeat Sunday's performance.

Cheers!
