its an epidemic that celebrities and althletes fall into daily. i can almost understand people getting into alcohol and drugs when theres no hope. but these people are blessed with talent and careers that most of us can just dream about. heres a guy that COULD be at the top of his game, hes a pretty damn good rider. the only thing thats been standing in his way, IS HIMSELF!

He should have told the cop his usual rides don't come with seat belts.

That is bad news. I hoped he was getting it back together. He was getting decent rides, and making the most of them. I find it hard to believe he wasn't using also. That stuff gets a vise grip on people, and takes over. Sucks. N.Y.S. is a bad place to get caught with that much toot with intent to sell. Not that there's a good place. If Gomez can come back there's hope for anyone. Valenzuela still riding in LA.?

Look at the head-on view of the last race of the Oak Tree Meet he rode out here. I mean he's out to do damage to another jock right there. Maybe he was trying to knock down Nakatani's horse. When someone simply ignores the presence of another horse n' jockey, you have to really take a hard look at what could possibly make them act that way. In that case, he just left town. I think it was probably his last race out here.

He'll be doing time if the prosecutors present evidence of his riding.
