This is a home run for the eagles. You have a back up quarterback that could start for a number of teams in the league. Not only that, unlike most backups, he won't just hold a clipboard. does anyone know if the $1.6 million figure is for 16 games or 10 if the suspension goes that long?

i assume that's a salary for the full year in which case the iggles might actually only pay $1 million for the games he's available.

i'm no expert on nfl contracts but i'm pretty sure suspensions mean no payment for games missed. anyone know?

was always my understanding that suspension meant no pay, like with stallworth.
