http://mlb.mlb.com/media/video.jsp?content_id=5915307 (3 FOR 6, with a double off the wall....Brotha almost spent too long watching it.)
Manny has hit the ball flush all nite. I have no clue why, but all the sudden he looks back to himself. That guy is really, really, really weird. |

Just Manny being Manny as they say in Dorchester.....or is that Jamaica Plain, maybe Southie....or any other bridge burnt to a crisp by this hand eye blessed but cranial cursed SOB who will eventually ruin any good he's done for the Dodgers. His exit from Boston should have been prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Throwing games to be traded should have gotten the guy a year long suspension instead he was celebrated in LA like Koufax in his prime. Piss him off he'll go 6 for 7 with 9 RBI's, forget to leave him a 14th comp at the ticket office and he'll pout like a prepubescent pu--y. While on the Red Sox Manny was actually timed home to first in just over.......10 seconds. He will show his true colors again...and Dodger fans are about to be horrified by how far he'll go to be a problem. I thank Manny for his part in 2004 and 2006 but the lack of a soul eventually will be noticible in LA..... |

I think Manny will be gone to the highest bidder after the 2010 season(LOL..PROBABLY THE METS!!) In most ways, he is not that different than most highly-talented people (it's just that most are really good at pulling off the illusion of appearing to be nice people.) Even the great team player, Pujols, has a dark side. That's on display when he tells that copier machine to shut up, and asks those guys what they're talking about. The way he talks to those guys is the way he talks to regular people. You only see his best act. As far as the effort so far goes(as a Dodger,) I only have one play that I thought was a selfish-type play. It was against the Cards last week in extra innings. In a play at the plate, I think he would of been safe if he had run into the catcher. Actually, if you remember the LCS last year, Manny kept playing hard, and the rest of the Dodgers quit.

Wow!! Dodgers were 2 runs down in the 9th, and the Braves never got an out. Ethier is not the dude to throw a lazy pitch to. Braves pitched great all night, but then they brought this Soriano guy in to close. Gave up a couple punch shots etc., and then he threw a low fastball down the center to Ethier. Game over. Lowe needs a whiskey baby bottle to get to sleep tonite.

Brotha Latino tees one up nicely. Has the lil quick bat toss (bullfighter-style) going on right away. |
