I just thought that the "was nothing strange about your Daddy" line was unecessary. He could have made the point (while taking his shot at the media) in a different manner.

It's too bad the last time Al Sharpton was relevant or considered anything other than a windbag was about when Thriller came out.

I didn't watch any of the Jackson memorial live, I paid no attention until I saw Paris's picture on CNN.COM.

I wasn't a Jackson fan, I even made some jokes the day he died. After watching his daughter's brief words, I felt bad I ever joked about him. I think if we had seen more of his kids and him interacting, maybe we wouldn't have thought he was so strange

As far as Sharpton's reference to that, I thought he was the 2nd best part of the memorial service(after Paris). I know he protected his kids too much from the world, but I'm sure they already knew(except the younger boy) that many people made fun of their father

I liked Sharpton in the Democratic primary debates 4 years ago, but still can't back him in any way due to the Tawana Brawley fiasco

My translation..

It was Michael Jackson that brought blacks and whites and Asians and Latinos together. It was Michael Jackson that made us sing ‘we are the world,’ to feed the hungry long before Live Aid.”
“It was that comfort level that kids from Japan and Ghana and France and Iowa and Pennsylvania got comfortable enough with each other so later it wasn’t strange to us to watch Oprah on television
. It wasn't strange to watch Michael Jackson put his hand on a 12 year old boy and talk about the times they spent in bed together.

I want his children to know there was nothing strange about your daddy, it was strange what your daddy had to deal with 'cause of all dem white mothaf.uckas trying to bring him down.

But he outdanced them hatas, outsang them crackas, and outmolested the white pedophiles. Everything Michael did he did mo' betta than any white mothaf.ucka on this earf. And he ours now. Although we may have disowned him when he was alive. We hangers on realize now the financial benefit he will bring when he ain't livin' no mo' and can't be touchin' no mo' little boys.

I wanna say thank ya, Joe. For beatin' the s.hit outta yo boys and turnin' the one with the most talent into a kiddie fiddler. I want to thank ya, for bringin Janet into this world so she can release the same songs, albums and videos over and over and over until people get sick of her fat ass and she has to have her titty exposed on national television to get press. I want to thank ya for havin' Jermaine and how he one upped ya by having 10 kids with foh different women and his claim to fame is havin' Iman in his video for Do what you do when ya did what ya did for me.

I wanna thank ya for LaToya for showin her bits and pieces in Playboy and bein' the only one of ya'll sorry mothaf.uckas to call out Michael for touchin all them kids.

Thank ya, Joe. Thank ya, thank ya, thank ya. And thank ya Magic for reminding the world that we like fried chicken.

Magic butchers English in a very specific(evidently repeatable) way.
