Hey my wife is from and all of her family live in Chattanooga, TN...any wonder why I have not been down there to visit them in years! It is like a BLACK HOLE for horse racing fans! And with NO live video from NYRA ONE to bet on line !!

Good BBQ though

I was in Chattanooga all day Wednesday....The wife and I were talkin about what a great city it would be to live in. All the while I was thinking about how far away it is from any track. 6 hours to Kee and CD is too far for me!

I bet you would have to look long and hard for a hand full of people to tell you who won the Ky Derby or who Rachel Alexandra is...sad really.

there's also an OTB on I-75 in Corbin (which is quicker than Pineville) according to the KYRC website.

People in Tenn. only care or have a clue about two sports: Tennessee Volunteer football...and Tennessee Volunteer spring football! I doubt that TVG is even on their sports program tiers of cable tv down there!

While we are at it:

What other "BLACK HOLE" states are there that we horse players should AVOID vacationing or relocating to. States that prohibit internet gambling on horse racing?

I'm sure some tech geek can make a map showing the black holes but lets just name them!

I was in Nashville in 2006 and tried to make a bet on my friend's computer accessing my online account. No dice. TN is a black hole.
