My Show-For those who may care...

Well, I have to say, I was very happy with our performances at the show yesterday.

First Dressage test was a bust, BUT we scored higher than we have in the past by about .2%. Buck decided he wanted to rush through the entire test. It was quite comical. The judge asked me after the test "Do you have somewhere to go?" To which I laughed and said "I don't have anywhere else to go but Buck may have" She laughed. I didn't get a "needs more energy" on anything, which we normally get on every test.


Second dressage test we did awesome. Scored higher than we ever had. Got an 8 even. Rest 7s and some 6s. Even got a 7 on our second circle.

Jumping we had one rail down, but still managed to come in 2nd overall in the combined in the jumping. Only five of us competed in the jumping. BUT HA HA I beat both trainers in the jumping that I lost to in the last show.

I was going to put this on the "selections" tread, but here's as good a spot as any. Big Daddy Ray is running this Fri at Finger Lakes, race 9.
It's a mile and 70 yd with Elaine Castillo in the irons. ML on him is 5-1.
I think this is his distance. I'm hoping.

I saw that yesterday morning. (Got him in my stable). How did he do last time out? Ya still thinking of giving him away or have you fallen head over heels in love with him?

Best of luck on Friday. I will keep and eye on the race. Been busy at work lately. Beginning to catch up so I am not as bogged down as I have been.

He didn't do well last out, but it was a 6f, not his style.
I have a partner on him, so the decision of giving him away has to be agreed.
I'm not in love with him. It's business.
If he can't pay his way after being given second and third chances, it only costs me what I could be putting into some of the other ones.
We'll see. He should do better in this one.
