British horses just don't have the speed over sprint distances that US and Aussie horses do. We emphasize it in our racing programs over classic distance ability, so is this any surprise?
I see that the formal black cowboy hat was worn in the winner's circle for Jealous Again. Very cool. |

How'd Spacious look? I'm thrilled she won - she hadn't been in great form since early in her 3 year old year.

Nice to see a mature stallion still racing. Has a nice crest to his neck, like a good stallion should. He knows he's the king of Ascot; all accolades are merely his due.

4 Gold Cups...wow. That's one of the greatest achievements I've seen in racing. |

Poor Veracity.
He'd been Godolphins 100th winner last year (Jockey Club Cup at Newmarket) and I know some of us had had him in our 7 Stars stables in the past. Rest in peace, good boy. A shame. * * * TT out... http://www.virtualformguide.com/cgi-...overtarget.txt Last edited by my miss storm cat : 06-19-2009 at 02:46 PM. |
