yep-that's what it's called when you remove one of the embryos. twins are very, very rare in horses-and most of the time neither twin survives. best to remove one now, rather than chance problems later in the pregnancy.

LOL hard to splain and probably anthropomorphsizing (sp) but Sumwon is sort of like a (Mrs.) Ed mostly because she was such a ham when it came to photographs - the weird part is friends were just asking about her yesterday (who can forget a horse with a name like that? ) and had given them the news she was retired and in foal, now have this interesting detail to add to the story - hope the rest of the pregnancy is relatively uneventful lol
