did Keeneland stop showing free REPLAYS ?

help me out here:
http://ww2.keeneland.com/racing/frames/replay.aspx

"Keeneland's 'Replays' and 'Video Charts' will remain available on RaceReplays.com subscription site. "

I've clicked it back and forth a few hundred times, I can't be missing something??

by remain available, apparently these assholes mean remain available for a fee. Which isn't remaining **** because they were complimentary a few months ago. Weird to see a site/organization like Keeneland who has been so progressive, take this route for racereplay. I actually didn't notice this regression/degeneration when it first took place because I had a 3 month plan with RaceReplays which we are basically forced to do during the Gulfstream meet.

If I am not just missing something, pretty lame Keeneland, pretty Lame

Obviously Rescue Squad is worth looking at in his last two races to determine his quality.

the 1st key to betting the race is whether or not Lime Rickey is given a low morning line. He isn't a superstar and though I've yet to watch his Alwn1x (thankfully NYRA and Calracing provide this service to the customer ), he hasn't been good enough in the past that you can't play against him at low odds.
With an evenly spread ML I would start leaning toward passing the race. Maybe still look at the video and see if I can narrow it to a group to use in multi-race exotics

A number of interesting horses;
Battle of Hastings, Rescue Squad, Mark S,Straight Story,Final Count are all worth a thorough video review. Any of these could possibly be used with Take The Points.

Take The Points is the one known commodity (from my perspective) who would be prominent on any coverage play designed to beat a low-odds Lime Rickey. Dropping in class here should help him a lot, and his one poor running line (Preakness) will hopefully help his price considering his poor position in that one.

Note that Pletcher is 1-13 with horses trying turf for the first time in graded stakes races in the last 5 years. Included in that stat are losses at short odds by Ready's Echo, Circular Quay, Advice, and Friendly Island.

His ROI for that 1-13 is $1.00.

Anyone know the one horse who he won with?

I'm sure he's too busy handicapping Townsville and Canterbury to read this thread.

At the BlacK Eyed Susan a few years back Panty Raid might have been the only serious bet Phil made the whole day but he did quite the dance of the white man when he won.

I've seen most of these run and off the top, Battle of Hastings is the most interesting one in my opinion, the distance is the only question with him but If Baze can time his move right he could get the distance, he does have a quick turn of foot if my memory is correct.

P.S Castellano and Bejarano don't seem to be too interested in 500K Sat...MIA

great...

The ML for this is like the worst possible way i could have written it up

Battle of hastings 2-1
Take The points 3-1
Lime Rickey 7-2

oh well. Pass.

I guess it's a playable race for those of you who like Lime Rickey but plan on tossing Take the Points

Who doesn't plan on playing against Take the Points? Where did you find a line this early?

I think Take The Points is the one horse I would be certain of using along with whatever of the others that I found up to standards on a video review.

His Sham was a big effort. He already showed talent on the dirt in florida and new york. His Santa Anita Derby was a form building type of experience.
Whatever you thought of him going into the preakness you kind of have to still think now, after he ran in the collapsing part of the race flow while wide and under Prado.
I thought of him as a solid grade II or grade III 3yo before the Preakness.

It is unknown whether anyone else in this race is a grade II or III talent, Battle of Hastings has a true turf pedigree and recent form and a move-up tarainer and must be given the probability that he can compete for the win. Pretty much all of these are worth a video review to form an opinion as many have decent paper form with open possibilities of being competitive.

a few morning lines were mentioned in the bloodhorse article:

I don't think Take The Points has ever run a race that i would call "big." What was so impressive about his two California races against decidedly weak competition, and why do his dirt races (that I'm far less impressed by than you) really even matter? Obviously the Preakness is a toss - not exactly a particularly innovative notion there. Would I be totally shocked if he ran well? Obviously not. But I would never use a horse with such an inflated reputation and subsequently deflated price who is unproven on turf when there are horses in here who have run well on turf and possess far more upside than Take the Points at presumably higher odds.

I do, however I am not sure where the value will be. I think the Queen's Plate is shaping up to be a much better wagering race.

The full line's out now on DRF. I'd love 12-1 on Final Count.

This has been bugging me since I saw the entries, is Desourmeaux in for the day to ride Indescribable? I don't see see why he would fly in to take the mount on Al Khali. Unless he's seen him work on grass recently...

Kent has ridden Indescribable in her last 5 starts, so it's probably safe to assume that that's why he's down there.
