According to a Rasmussen poll, more voters now trust Republicans more than Democrats to handle the economy, by a margin of 45-39. Scott Rasmussen notes that “this is the first time in over two years of polling that the GOP has held the advantage on this issue.” Last month, he had the Democrats holding a one-point lead, but they lost it in June’s polling.

You do understand that much of that "stimlus" money is going to put the states in very poor financial shape after those temporary funds run out yet the political mandates involved are made permanent? You do realize that many states are being given money to use in areas that they dont need? You do understand that they arent able to use it where they want to?

The part of the headline you are ignoring is one of the main reasons the GOP lost this past election, and why the GOP will keep losing elections, as it's associated with age demographics:
