Indeed, Harold breezed a sharp :24.2 quarter as part of a tandem gallop with a big Prime Timber NY bred colt. When the pair broke off, Harold, who is considerably smaller than his workmate, was a half length behind. He dug in through the lane to get on even terms at the wire and got past him in the subsequent gallop-out eighth. While not a super serious effort, it struck me as a rather encouraging little display.

Gary reported yesterday that Harold C. came out of the brief work in fine order, and will continue on a regular worktab progression.
