This might seem like a ridiculous question, but has Borel rode in many races at Belmont in the past. I think he's been in town since Tuesday and I think the only mount I saw him on was MTB. Usually an out of town jock, not so familiar to Belmont comes in a day or two early and picks up a few mounts just to get a feel of the track. But it's funny, I just don't remember (not that I have the memory of you guys when it comes to this stuff) Calvin being at Belmont at all.

Obviously I didn't think it was a good ride and I thought that Dunkirk ran a very big race.

You are correct, that was his only ride. I heard some announcer say that he had an earlier mount but took off, I'm not sure if that was correct.

He got off Sciacca's horse but that race was on the turf so probably wouldn't have helped. Probably a smart move to get off since that horse dumped the rider and ran off after the race.

The number of Belmont rides was something like a total of 7 - never a two turn only sprints...
