During the 2000 election, Dowd wrote that Al Gore was "so feminized and diversified and ecologically correct that he's practically lactating."
I wonder if she "borrowed" that one from somebody? I always thought it was a pretty memorable line.

I've never been a fan of hers myself. A lot of people love her because she also ripped on Clinton and Gore all the time in addition to her more publicized skewering of Bush. Personally I just think she comes across as a know-it-all type, who always favors excessive sarcasm rather than actual analysis.
