Default Very sad passing......

Harry Kalas, a true LEGEND in broadcasting and just in sport period. He will never be forgotten, and has left us so many memorable calls to remember great moments in sports history. Condolences to his family and friends.
RIP

NFL Films may as well close their operation with out Harry on board. What a sad day for Phillies fans, and baseball lovers everywhere. Does bring a small smile to know one of his last acts was to call last fall's World Series.

I'm sure they thought the same thing when they lost John Facenda, the real voice of NFL Films. They'll find somebody.

That's gunna be pretty rough for people in Philly to deal with. We've had the same guy calling Dodger Games for a very long time, and it's gunna be tough when he retires, or passes. I know he has always loved watching the O Dog play, and he's playing super for the Dodgers.

I picked him up to use in my fantasy league this week, first day in the line up, he hits for the cycle!

Really squaring up to the ball well (beachball right now.) Have to admit though that the Frisco pitching yesterday was incredibly bad. I think the Nationals would have been able to get 11 runs too.

Last night was weird watching and listening to his last game called against the Rockies. Hard to imagine that was the last time hear him call a Lidge save and his last homerun call by Matt Stairs. Harry was always a winner I'm glad the team sent him out a champion.
