The beauty of this "Hillbilly" is this my friend...............................

I would lay my pay on the line from this past year that his exceeds yours in more ways then one, not just financial in nature but the way he handles himself as a man. Doubt Kenny Perry will be found "labeling" like you do. This crap really irates me, and I have my reasons as to why you label him this way.

I think he handled it with the artificial southern glee n' pain denial that someone from Kentucky would be expected to use. Holmes would probably have done the same thing. One thing I didn't understand was when he said "I'm gunna go enjoy it!!" Do they have some sort of Banquet Dinner on Sunday Night?

You including choking a Major away? I'll be honest with you. The guy from Argentina hung in there like a man. This is twice this guy has choked a major away. Kenny is a good player, but this is a choke. I was wrong about him, because I thought he had the nad to win a major. I was wrong, because if he does any of these things below, then, he's a Major winner right now.

With a decent approach on 17.....K PERRY WINS

With a decent chip on 17....K PERRY WINS

If he hits it in the fairway on 18........K PERRY WINS

If he hits a decent approach on 18....K PERRY WINS

If he gets down in 2 on 18(granted, it wasn't easy).......K PERRY WINS

With a decent approach on 1st playoff hole.........K PERRY WINS

With a decent approach on 2nd playoff hole(to put pressure back on Cabrera).........K PERRY WINS

That's 7 chokes in a row. He choked this away.

That was painful to watch, quite a let down after some great Sunday drama, The Masters was lost, not won in the end.

My 5 Master's observations:

1) Cabrera's short game is SWEET. How he recovered from his tee shot in the playoff hole was nothing short of special.
2) Shingo Kat got game. Became a fan of his over the weekend.
3) How did Phil miss that eagle putt on 15? (sunday)
4) If Tiger had a few more shots go his way on thurs and fri, Sunday could've been something even crazier.
5) A. Kim's 11 birdies on friday (65) was something else. Could've catapulted him even more if he didnt bogey twice in the round and double bogey on the 10th.

If everyone played at the pace Cabrera does, all rounds would be 3:15 min.

Tiger's definitely not all the way back yet, which is scary when he does get back to 100% or close to it.

My favorite Masters moment was Phil's face on 12 after he hit it in the water. Obviously he is not a favorite of mine, but I will say he is sure fun to watch on the golfcourse.

the guy's won't appreciate his comment either about his band aid swing and how he almost won the tournament

when angel beat him at the us open a couple of years ago he had every opportunity to beat him that day without a band aid swing or knee issue and couldn't get by him then , why should we believe it would have been any different yesterday?

I'm pretty sure Angel will feel comfortable talking sh*t to Tiger when he wins 12 more majors

In defeat he handled it the way I would think a man would, I screwed up. Scuds, I just take issue with your calling him a Hillbilly is all. It really bothers me. Now, when you got a scum dirtbag that has not worked in 10 years with 5 kids from 5 different women living with his pal in tim buk too call him what you want. But, for a lot of us caucasian folk here in Ohio (and I don't know your background Scuds), a lot of us take the label Hillbilly wrong is all.

I think Kenny Perry had every chance to win the Masters and left it at the door, especially when he pulled out driver. But, I am a sittin in my recliner watching, not playing. When you go 22 holes bogey free then.................

well it looks bad. And he admitted in his press conference that it got to him. Thats the difference between him and a lot of others and what defines him as a man, ability to admit he screwed up.

I thinks it's nice(the ability to admit it's your own fault,) but this is not running a stop sign. This is competitive sports, and he says the Majors are how golfers careers are judged. You keep talking about how a man should act. Well, believe me, it's not manly to blow 4 straight approach shots with a Major up for grabs. This is one of the best iron players around. You don't want to teach your kids to cave in like that. You want them to keep believing (like Angel did.) BUT.....(BIG BUT).....There are about 7 Majors between now, and the time Kenny moves on to the old folks tour. I'll tell you exactly what a man does. It's not just say I fkd up. No, a man comes right back, and kicks butt in another major. He's done this on the regular tour. It's been 13 years since he had the pressure of trying to win a Major. He caved in. That's not the end of it. He needs to get right back out there, and win his Major. That's what a man does. This is the start. All that crap about "may never have another chance" etc. That's bullshit. Get out there and win your Major.

not sure i agree, you need to be able to shape every shot differently on that course both off the tee and to hold the greens in the ideal position. doesn't really favor someone who shapes it one way or another. i've played it literally over a hundred times.

1st hole: fade tee, straight 2nd
2nd hole: draw tee, straight 2nd
3rd hole: draw
4th hole: draw tee, fade 2nd, pitch
5th hole: fade tee, draw 2nd
6th hole: straight, straight
7th hole: big fade tee, straight
8th hole: straight/fade
9th hole: big draw tee, straight
10th hole: straight tee, draw 2nd
11th hole: fade tee, straight 2nd
12th hole: high draw tee, straight 2nd
13th hole: high huge fade tee, straight 2nd (if they can reach in 2)
14th hole: used to be better to hit a fade but they reshaped the green, prob better to hit a high draw now
15th hole: straight, sky high draw
16th hole: fade, fade
17th hole: depends on the pin
18th hole: straight, straight
