I know the first game just started a few minutes ago. I agree with most of Cannon Shell's team picks......I'm tossing my 2 cents in on the individual awards:

AL MVP: NOBODY stands out.
AL Cy Young: Sabathia
AL Manager of the Year: The guy who manages Minnesota
AL ROY: I have no idea
NL MVP: Hanley Ramirez
NL Cy Young: Tim Lincecomb
NL Manager of the Year: Dusty Baker.....not because he's good but I can see the team overperforming

I take pleasure in the hope/idea that Morgan resents having someone in the booth that could potentially call him out on some of the absurd sh*t he spews. FYI- Phillips only got fired as the Met's GM because of a potential sexual harassment suit. Or the Mo Vaughn signing... or lil' matsui.

For the record McCarver is the worst.

Phillips is a terrible analyst. Morgan is nuts. McCarver and Buck are unbearable.

Didn't Phillips trade Kazmir for the bad Zambrano?

Mute button. Problem with that, is that I like to listen to Miller.

I think I only picked the Mets because everyone else did. I know as much about the National League as I do about Zimbabwean Table Tennis.

The American League on the other hand, looks like I was the only one to fancy the Tigers, I hope they hang on..

I wouldn't count the mets out next year. I agree they are cooked this year. But getting Reyes, Delgado, Santana, and Putz back (and adding francoeur) can only help.
