What was/is the problem with Atlantic City. I've never been.

don't know anything about it either other than through the Louis Malle flick Atlantic City and uh Beaches with Bette Midler was taken on a family vacation to Ocean City back in the day by my Auntie and Uncle who lived in Pennsylvania at the time -do remember the boardwalk, as a little kid from the midwest who had to swim in yucky lakes, yes, was impressed...
