Yeah, transferring would make a lot of sense but someone has his ear and told him he's a future NBA player. I think they are very wrong.

That might be enough to get me to take a trip to Beulah.

The NBA is full of guys that have size and seemingly have potential but don't do anything. General managers make huge mistakes all of the time. Think Olowokandi. Think Milicic. Think Kwame Brown and Eddie Curry. The list goes on and on. Plenty of guys that we sit and watch and think the guy has no game and some gm spends a lottery pick on them. Some of them become serviceable, guys like Bogut and Marvin Williams. Then you get guys like Brandon and Julian Wright.

Somebody will pick him because he's 7 feet tall.... and waste a pick on him (unless they want to pay to have him learn in Europe first).

This is ridiculous. Three straight years OSU loses a freshman big man. Mullens is far less ready than Kosta Koufos was and he was nowhere near ready himself. Koufos did go 23rd in the draft or something to Utah and did get a bit of playing time when all their players were injured...I think it's nuts however for Mullens to go.

(I read somewhere Matta perhaps cut his playing time simply to get him to stay past his freshman year...guess that backfired!!)
