they lost at louisville in feb by 18 and came back and beat pitt by 8 at home, now if the games were diff last thurs at msg and wvu played 'ville and provd played pitt are we to believe that providence couldn't have beat pitt again ?? what does the crystal ball say about that one? |

There is very good reason that West Virginia is a 6 seed in the NCAAs and Providence is a first round exit in the NIT. West Virginia is a much better team. |

In conference West Virginia played Pitt, Louisville, and South Florida twice. Providence played Villanova, Cincinnati, and Rutgers. Providence also didn't have to go to Pitt, Syracuse, or Marquette. Those are incredibly unbalanced conference schedules.

i pointed out the 'vill was 9 or 10 over provd on a neutral court so based on your numbers west va is better than 'ville and if you set the line you would have wvu over louisville - explain this one to me |

louisville was favored by 7.5 over syracuse in the finals west va as favored by 6.5 over syracuse in the semi's now everyone knows that the overnite line betwwen west va and syr was 1 or 2 pts west va favored there was a 6 ot game that had to get factored into the line for syr/wvu , the oddsmakers decide to move the line 4/5.5 points again explain to me how west va could be a 1 or 2 pt underdog to 'ville are we to believe that if wvu had beaten syr they would have been in a pickem game (1 pt either) way against the cards? |
