shouldn't this be in an already established obama thread? kind of the opposite of what you're trying to achieve, isn't it??

And a job you're doing fine sir.

I have this mental picture of you hunched, drooling over your keyboard, several days worth of empty pizza boxes and diet mountain dew cans scattered around you, just waiting for either the next leftist response on DT - or the next story you can copy-paste as a thread starter so that you can dive in and show us how fucl<ed we all are now that Bush is gone.

It's gonna be a rough next couple of years for you. Not that that isn't some change I can believe in.

How so?

Are these "good guys" you speak of going to try and outlaw gambling? Is Bill Frist coming back? Are there more ports to keep safe?

From a mental and emotional standpoint - gambling on horses is the hardest and most tedious way possible to make a living - if the good guys take away gambling, something tells me I'd be significantly better off financially in the long run... and FAR LESS over worked at the same time.

I just don't see how what Obama is doing is so radically anti-business, anti-rich, and out and out wealth destruction. But don't think I'm not loving it seeing all these righty's melt.

I keep a couple of index card boxes with trainers I've done statistical research on that I don't see everyday at circuits I play. I just pulled out your index card and right below where it mentions your skills and weaknesses I wrote "A noted fellow internet blowhard. once started four political threads in one day."

Give him a break about the pizza boxes...we're just preparing since that's all we'll be able to afford thanks to Obama.

Cannon's loaded with . He's all excited about 4 straight winning days on Wall Street ... he'll be fine.

I love how the Anti-Obama guys all want to make believe how bad and desperate things will become.

My favorite one so far is the guy who told me "you want change? You'll be in the streets sucking cock for change if that coon gets elected."

And I started a thread today PRAISING OBAMA!!!

Not to mention posting a NY Times Oped piece even though it took the usual potshot at the GOP which had a intelligent suggestion at the end.

I'm freakin centrist today!

The truth is despite the rumors to the contrary I read both sides. I dislike the vast majority of politicians regardless of party but the Democrats seem to have virtually no one that is for what I am for. Hell in KY there is hardly a GOP politician that you dont want to smack in the face. Ernie Fletcher may be the worst governor (outside of Blago of course) in the last 50 years or any state. I hope everyday that David Williams dies a painful death, not just dead but painfully so. I think Arlen Spector is a buffoon. ( his demise wouldnt bother me much either)

The problem and the reason i rarely link to the Times or other liberal places is that i rarely agree with much they say. Most of the time even when they have a semi-good idea it is wrapped in antiBush rhetoric that people like some of our resident libs here just eat up. They wind up missing the message anyhow.

I hoped that Obama would actually do as he said, or at the very least, implied he would. I didnt vote for him and hoped but doubted his centrist move was actually real. It is readily apparent that he isnt despite the pleas to the contrary. He appears to be trying but his agenda simply is far too left for me and a lot of others. I saw on AOL today a poll that said 59% of people voting were very unhappy with the job he was doing. I understand that it wasnt scientific but there were over 400,000 votes. Everywhere I go and everyone I talk to is unhappy though some still cant get Bush off their minds. I dont hang in the ghetto much but I do talk to other business owners and regular people who are terrified by the moves this administration has made. They would be even moreso if the media didnt continue with the full scale Obamalovefest and actually covered the reality of some of these programs instead of simply putting sound bytes out there. I mean who wouldnt be against evil global warming? Well a lot of people wouldnt give a damn about it when they found out they may be out thousands of dollars a year with "environmental reform".

Some may see this as partisan bs. Others still see things with rosecolored glasses. But those who wish to not debate the reality of the issues and simply keep beating the Bush dog will keep starting threads like this.
