there's union avenue in the del mar derby, but i don't think he's the one you're talking about...he won the american derby at arlington earlier this year.

I believe you're talking about One Union who is trained by Richard Mandella. He ran in the 1st division of the Oceanside on opening day at Del Mar. He came out of that race with another injury. I'm unsure as to what the injury was.

Mike danzig thanks that is the one one union i just remember being impressed by his run and got excited thinking same horse tomm hope injy isnt too bad b/c really looked good running. thanks again sucks no dmr in drf in l'ville but what you gonna do???

well, if you don't mind putting out the ink and about 30-odd sheets of paper, you can buy the online version and print it...or go crosseyed reading it on your monitor!
yeah, i think one union got caught at the end by point determined...and haven't heard much about him since. it happens every year. a lot of supposed derby horses go awol...matter of fact, when's the last anyone heard anything on achilles of troy?
