Just now starting to feel human again... loooong day yesterday as Kev alluded to - not many return trips to the windows to cash, and the dogs...
My first real visit to actually watch and play the greyhounds and honestly I can't see how anyone can make rhyme or reason out of that mess. Although Derby Lane is a beautiful place - the new poker room is enormous and top notch, and the buffet is to die for but, betting on which one or two of eight dogs will emerge out of a literal pack, all the while they're climbing on top of each other, sliding into turns, etc.... A little crazy... not seeing a return trip in the near future.
Anyhow, great day overall, fantastic company - Tom (3kings) in the house at TBD yesterday! great seeing ya, bro!
