High class US galloper Nolan's Cat will be set for this year's Melbourne Cup as part of an assault on Australian spring racing by flamboyant American owner Ken Ramsey.

Nolan's Cat, a four-year-old son by Catienus, is a proven G1 performer who was third in last year's G1 Belmont Stakes (2400m), final leg of the US Triple Crown for three-year-olds.
