I had one beer yesterday (during the first race) and it tasted like heaven. I may go home and eat an entire pizza and watch Vanilla Sky.

Come on Tuesdays are awesome. Monday is over. We are one day closer to the holidays and closer to the wonderful weekend card at Toga.

Mondays blow as well. Especially in the fall when NYRA is dark (Belmont only runs 5 times a week) and we have to see all those endless boring NFL highlights on ESPN as well as hear that stupid "I love" song.

Mike, are you going to be there on Friday for the 3 o'clock post? I'll be heading over. Sorry, I haven't stop by Steve's yet this meet. Everytime I go over I'm either with the family or get mixed up with other friends and forget.
I know it's near the end of the meet, but better late than never. I'll stop by Steve's and give a shout out. I'll be the skinny one with little hair and bad clothes. At least my girlfriend thinks so LOL! The clothes that is...

I will absolutely make it a point to be there and meet you. I've really wanted to make your acquaintance. Lets have some fun and have a few beers as well.

Tim....get your head out of your ass ....you need to be happier than a homo in jail. You had a HUGE hit yesterday in the last race. If I had hit that...I would be on cloud 9 for a month.

Tuesdays are, without question, the worst day of the week.

Has Sar or Dmr ever run on Tuesday? Other than this past July 4th, does Arlington, Churchill or Monmouth ever run on a Tuesday? Does the NFL have "Tuesday Night football?

At work, I'm refreshed from the weekend and too busy to realize the next weekend is far away. By Tuesday, reality sets in. Mondays are much better than Tuesdays.

Thank God this Tuesday is almost over.

Long ago (in a galaxy far,far away?), there were no TB races on Sundays in this country. None. Wasn't until the late 1970s that the laws against wagering on races on Sundays were repealed or made moot by non-enforcement. But instead of asking for more days to race on from the racing commission, tracks simply killed their Tuesday cards so that they could run on Sundays. (Most tracks didn't run on Mondays except holidays; track workers need SOME day off to go shopping. Oh, yes; many localities, like Lexington, had Sunday closing laws, too. It DOES sound like a far away galaxy.)

So the answer to your question is YES, these tracks ran on Tuesdays in the days they couldn't run on the more lucrative Sundays.
