I thought she ran well. Diego said she wanted to go a little earlier than he wanted and he wanted to get her off the rail and she may have been a little confused turning for home. But she responded in the stretch and ran on to be second. He also said that he thought she may run a little longer. In my mind she got very little out of her last race and this was a pretty solid effort. TC said on first glance she looked to be ok afterwards.

Yeah, it looked like that. Wasn't enough of a difference to get her up for first but might have got her a little closer. Very encouraging finish. Nice work by Team Simon.

I liked the trip and her placement but especially a game effort in the lane after being near a solid pace. Team Simon put her in the right place to succeed and learn.

Very uplifting on a cold night. Congrats to all the connections

Just watched the replay on Calracing, nice effort and fits well at this level. She may like it longer.

a gutsy effort by the little horse tonite at TP. She ran a strong race from the 1/4 pole home, while being covered up early on. As Riot said after the race " The light bulb may have come on for her tonite ". Very nice ride by Diego and a great job by Team DT getting her ready. Only 4 partners on hand but many family and friends in tow made for another really fun nite. 1$ beers on Fri. nites always brings a great crowd to the Florence track. Hopefully we can do it again in about 3 weeks. Congrats to everyone involved.
