That is the guy the Gov was trying to screw? Im confused

No the Trib was bought by Sam Zell not too long ago. Blago wanted the company to appoint board members that would fire editorial writers who have published negative articles about him.

I swear I read something on the fox news ticker yesterday about some big guy with the Tribune filing bankruptcy but that it wouldnt include Wrigley or some field he owns.... didnt know if the two stories were connected. Chicago is pretty bad ass.

During the call, ROD BLAGOJEVICH’s wife can be heard in the background telling ROD BLAGOJEVICH to tell Deputy Governor A “to hold up that ****ing Cubs ****. . . **** them.” ROD BLAGOJEVICH asked Deputy Governor A what he thinks of his wife’s idea.
