u know i should not complain, its crazy of me. im going off topic but keeneland is just freakin great, even in early december when i just roll in to catch a few races on simulcast (their simulcast is great, what 3 seperate rooms, great tvs etc) and roll out back to ohio. my burger and fries was great, good people around no jokers or "questionable" characters, security present etc etc.

lookin forward to spendin some time their in april 2009. retired guys sittin next to me, no doubt locals, said that Keeneland is the best place to be on Derby Day, anybody agree?

Keeneland is great on all the big race days, in addition to the usual simulcast areas, they fill the paddock with tables and chairs, set up mutual clerks, waiters to get you drinks, the races are shown on the infield setup, they also set up tons of TV's outdoors - it's family, it's fun, it's relaxing, it's not that crowded.

That horse has a beautiful stride, covers alot of ground - too bad the jock thought the race was from the half to the quarter poles <g>

Next time, Carl
