and you need a segment name - something like

Short story...I know Steve was very apprehensive of what I might say. He doesn't know how really benign I am....but when he started that question about Ohio racing,he kind of drug it out and I'm sitting there thinking---"Oh no. He's going to ask me for any update I can add"....my noodle spun furiously try to think of some incredible lie I could come up with to sound smart.

But I failed...and when having failed---I tell the truth.


I really hate that.

Tip for next time... assuming you were in front of your computer when you called, and not on some dial up remote connection from the hinterlands of northern Quebec... keep Google and open, ready for keyword searches; kind of like politicians use flash cards during debates. Then just recite the first headline that comes up. For example, "Ohio Instant Racing" pulls up a bloodhorse article that says it's a "quick fix for Ohio racing". You'll sound like you know what you're talking about.
