Sorry bro, one day a year, plus you acting cool probably scores major points with the wifey, thus you might get some special treatment
Scavs, there is no special treatment when you are married. The closest thing would be for her to take the boys out Sunday afternoon so I can watch the Giants game. But instead, I have to clean out the garage and take out the X-mas decorations. Not to mention that I can't even move from the Thanksgiving morning football game. I'm popping Advil like they are Pez.

Special Teatment, that's funny.

That's disappointing, with you being the finely tuned athlete that you are!

But I guess that's a sign of old age creeping in, when you have to stretch before playing video games!

lol When you play Wii Sports, you don't need to make gigantic moves with your arms really. I have found that flicking your wrist works just as well.

I have worked in hospitals for about 9 years now, and usually work all of the holidays. Always interesting, becuase we are always busy, and we usually have alot of domestic violence stuff come in. Usually tied to your type of story, Matt, but get a little more redneck mixed in, plus a little alcohol, and you get a very interesting situation...

I could definitley see alcohol intensifing the situation. I am assuming that some of the redneck folk might also have more weaponry around the house/camper. It sounds like an potentially interesting/painful situation.

I think the only thing I would have done if I had a few in me was, throw everyone out ala Ralph Kramden in the honeymooners!!

I am definitely not in great shape right now, but you use muscles that you generally don't use all the time with this damn thing, definitely getting one, it is awesome

Sorry your day sucked, but the story made my family weekend a little better. Thanks for sharing.

I am going to order a copy of G1 Jockey. Looks pretty cool, and the only chance in hell that I will ever be able to ride a race...

Some of the reviews say that it is too difficult because they have apparently put some thought and reality into the game, making some of the horses front-runner, some closers, etc., most of which horseplayers probably prefer. The reviews basically seem to say that it isn't like a basic race car game, where you just grab the remote and start playing, but instead have to think like a jockey/trainer and learn the game a bit.

I still need to order a copy...

See I gave my Wii to H, because (a) I sucked at it so bad and (b) the games weren't that exciting to me. She loves it, and we just downloaded some old skool games last night (which admittedly is my favorite feature).

Rock Band, on the other hand, is the greatest game EVARRRR.

My wife just wrapped it up for my son. If she only knew how excited I was about it!
