Zayats crew is boarderline embarrassing. The way the horses are bought, spotted, campaigned, its a complete joke. Youd be hardpressed to find a group that has more highdollar busts than Zayat

Mott refuses to dope for Zayat, so he gets canned.

Klaravich has had some success at least along the way. What has Zayat done? His best horse is a turf miler that requires a perfect trip to even be competitive. His 2nd best horse is a sprinter that folds under pressure. The rest of horses just plain suck for the money he spends. |

Klaravich sure waited for the absolute peak time to jump on the T. Pletcher bandwagon.

Lear's Princess beat Rags to Riches in the Gazelle so she did "figure" in the BC as long as she could handle the mud. High Finance was spotted a bit agressively, IMO. I don't know of any partnership that allows shareholders to decide on placement.
Zayat has had some nice prospects fizzle. How'd that Maimonides work out? Z Fortune should have stayed in NY (or returned after not lighting things up in the Derby preps.) He was a NY bred who could have been useful. I like Premium Wine but he never quite seems to get there. Was (is) J Be K theirs? He's a nice sprinter, a useful type but not exactly championship caliber. They spent alot of money for alot of horses. They'd have been better off with more focus and less of a wide net approach.
