As I said...and will say again...I lived there, was married for 17 years to a woman from there...she was a wonderful woman but her entire family was racist. It's not irresponsible to report what I saw, what I experienced! Of course WVa is not alone....but racism played a significant role...period! By the way...Obama has won!

My mother is from WVa....I still have lots of family in WVa....I still have spent a great deal of time in WVa myself. I can also assure you this...in my household growing up, if we were to ever even mutter the word "n*gger" our ass would have been beat thoroughly. Mom and Dad did not tolerate it at all.

Yep, he doesn't understand the concept of slapping labels on people and the effect it has. I have had to stop myself several times from replying to some of his posts lately as it just isn't worth it.
