but i'd imagine that most people don't go along with all their churches teachings...of course i doubt a lot of churches go quite as overboard as his. or maybe they do. i don't go to church anymore, but i'd hate to think that since i used to go to catholic church that people would think i was in lockstep with them on every isse.
and yeah, both sides are equally guilty. we see that every day. regardless of the issue, each side plays the blame game, and nothing gets accomplished.

I don't either. But I'll be damned if I'm going to give the next president a pass for attending a church where the pastor thinks the government created HIV to kill minorities.

That's fine, but you don't want him to get offed as the alternative..that's the only point I was trying to make and nothing else. When someone is spewing hatred that deep, yeah, I'm "outraged"...but not when you want to rip him verbally

I can't comment on the context of 'KILL HIM'. It could simply mean to beat him in the polls by a wide margin. Don't know. Don't have the video.

Even if the comment was meant as in to literally kill the guy it doesn't change the fact that McCain doesn't know that guy from Adam, unlike Obama who attended a church where black supremacy is preached on a weekly basis.

I'm sorry but people need to get some perspective. This is the 21st century and we can't change what has happened in the past. All we can do is try and make the present and the future a better place. And that bulls.hit Wright is spewing is only keeping his members down.

Once again ... AMEN to that. Bill Cosby would agree with that as well.

It may be a metaphor.

I know you're being sarcastic...which is hilarious because you shouldn't be on this one.

Did you bother to read the article? Did you see the pic of that guy? Come on, Joey. They weren't getting anywhere near Washington.
