He doesn't throw them in the trash? Where's he dump them? Under the bench, or something?

Nope. They all throw their trash, gum and chew onto the dugout floor and/or the warning track. We cant vacuum the warning track 'cause it's has crushed clay and cat litter in it. We have to pick it up with a broom and dust pan.
Sunflower seeds are the worst. They ALL chew them and spit them on the turf. Can't vacuum the turf cause its filled with rubber granules and fibers.
Very time consuming.

How do they throw gum on the floor without it sticking to everybody's cleats? They have a forward area that is a trash zone of some sort?

They all dodge the gum when they walk/run. Seriously. There are no trash cans IN the dugout. Next time they show the front of the dugout, just look how much crap is on the warning track. Also...it doesn't matter that it sticks to their shoes....it really doesn't affect them and club house boys clean it off.
