I'm looking over his record and trying to figure out who exactly he beat that would make him a 'nice horse'. Here it is: he finished ahead of Alaazo in the Haskel.

Then why are you posting in it? Sheesh. I like the horse and I wanted some opinions. Can you please tell me what a message board is for if not for that? I guess we should make a separate forums for Grade 1 horses, Grade 2/3 horses, allowance horses and plugs. What on earth are you so worked up about? I find it funny your practically bursting a blood vessel over this. No one said Coal Play was a great horse - and if you think he's a lousy, no-talent bum, then ok, that's your opinion.
