An immediate telephone poll by CNN and Opinion Research Corp found 51% said Mr Obama had done the better job, to 38% for Mr McCain.

A poll of uncommitted voters by CBS News found that 39% gave Mr Obama victory, 25% thought John McCain had won, and 36% thought it was a draw.

Again, these polls are meaningless, but again, you put forth a lame attempt to make it seem like Grandpa Munster somehow won handily. Drudge Report readers say McCain won? Wow! Fascinating! I can't possibly imagine who Huffington Post readers liked better!

I thought an obviously very nervous Obama might have gotten the best of it but I can't get past the fact that McCain is as bad or worse than what we have now from a public speaking ability and Obama was so nervous he called McCain "Tom, Joe, and Jim" Why couldn't he get his friggin name right. Where are his speaking advisors.....call him Senator McCain for god sake and you won't mess his name up 50 times next time!!!

First thing is that nobody is worse than Bush at speaking. I agree that McCain isn't the best speaker in the world (and he is up against a guy who is very polished, so it makes him look even worse), but I thought he did well last night. He was calm, made his points and reinforced how Obama just didn't get it about Iraq. He also didn't make faces and try to jump in before his time, like Obama constantly did all night(I thought he looked and came off foolish [obviously I am a bit biased and probably nit picking a bit]). Like I said, I thought it was a small victory for McCain, but really not big/strong enough to sway any undecided voters or steal anyone from the Obama camp.

Why do you continue post things that are devoid of fact or thought? Drudge is the same place that created a picture of Obama dressed as a terrorist.

This is not quite as dumb as saying the holocaust had nothig to do with religiion, but it certainly belongs as another entry on your list.
