Yeah - the same way the Jaguars shut down in Moss in the Playoffs last year when he didn't catch a ball and Brady went 29-for-31 passing. Moss wasn't even playing hurt that day.

Look - I know the one-sided loss must have hurt as a Jet fan - if Moss not having a big fantasy football day is a moral victory - the Jets aren't contenders.

And - you can pretend Moss didn't burn that corner on the play he broke off his route and had an easy td if Cassell didn't badly underthrow him.

Would Brady have made the throw? Yes. Would Cassell have made it 7 times out of 10? Yes. He didn't make it - but the encouraging thing was he saw it. Moss broke off his route on his own.

The Patriots defense is so much better off without Brady - and the silly throw every down playcalling.

DrugS, he's gonna give up on Cassel real soon and you know it. @ SF, @ SD, vs. DEN, vs. STL, @ IND, vs. BUF, you're telling me Moss is going to be cool with 2 receptions for 22 yards every week while Cassel 'gets adjusted'? Cassel sucks, and your homeboy is a notorious quitter. When they lose 3-4 out of the next six, your boy will have moved on. Bottom line is #24 forced that cornrowed sissy into irrelevance today, though the rest of the team played well, and against San Diego, Denver, Indianapolis and Buffalo, that fairweather bitch is going to resort back to his old half-assed ways. Welker can have his 5-6 yard gains, without Brady and Maroney, teams know that Moss is inconsequential.

Moss would rather have no catches for 0 yards and win comfy than have 10 catches for 200 yards and be in a tight game or lose.

I've watched everyone of his NFL games and his college games - and I watch him on every play to the best the camera angle will allow.

In the past - he gets pissed when the ball is forced to him when he's covered. Or he gets pissed when he breaks off of a route and the qb doesn't notice it and throws it in the vacinity of where his original route was going.

When he is not getting along with his qb - he will shut down to a walk when he thinks he's covered. You'll see him in a half trot with a corner and safety froze. It's his way of telling the qb to not waste anytime looking at him on the play.

There is probably no reciever in the history of football who wants the ball less than Moss does.
