I'm off to the tailgate in an hour......

I'm pretty sure there is never any doubt as to where my rooting interests lie

I am an RU Business School alumni. I donate a lot of money to the school every year, and while obviously I care about the performance of the football team, it isn't the most important thing. Academic ranking and facilities matter much more.

They can't run the ball. The loss of Ray Rice is hurting them pretty bad. That said, it's 2 games and we probably will still win 7 and go to some irrelevant bowl like 60 other college teams.

What do you think they're saying at UCLA right now? Or Michigan?

My Brother is a Michigan Alum, donor and season ticket holder. He couldn't be happier Lloyd Carr is gone and is willing to sacrifice this season to let Rich Rod get his feet wet and implement his system. He also thinks they will be a thorn in other team's side (hello OSU) by season's end.

Rutgers has talent/depth issues, Michigan does not.

i think you give michigan to much credit. they could be 2 more years until coach rod get enough of his players to run that system. i don't think michigans talent has been that good the last couple years. look at last week, nd beat mich and look how bad nd was this week and nd talent just not what they make it out.

RU got a group of local and regional players to come and put the program on soild footing. they've graduated and the players there now aren't as talented. if this group can at least hold the line until they get help. RU will be ok. recruiting the NE right now is a gauntlet. uconn, pitt, ru, psu, delaware, wvu, umd, all after the same players. the key could be JoePa retiring. what school steps in to fill the void.

Tell him to dream on.

If this is getting his feet wet wait until he actually takes a full body bath over there.
