"A situation like that, you've got guys up at the plate that you want up at the plate , two strikes on Casey, and he puts the ball in play and he winds up hitting it to the worst place. Not that that's his fault, it just happened to work out that way," Torre said.

OMG...Please!!!!!!! Of course it's his fault. What a stupid man. You dumb fkr. Bases loaded/ no outs in extra innings. How the fck can it not be Casey Blake's fault that he doesn't wait for a pitch he can elevate for a flyball? LOL...CAN'T HAPPEN, JOE. What the fk was the plan? You have any say in the management of this team, or do the players just do whatever they want? That individual that didn't elevate a ball for a flyball needs to be treated as a cancer until the next game starts. Simple as that. Has to be some price for not executing. You will never get improved execution without a system of reward and punishment. You know what LA RUSSA WOULD DO? That guy wouldn't be going back out to field his position. He wouldn't be playing tomorrow either. Sit dumb fkr. How did this guy ever have a team that won rings? Wow. What incredible talent he had to have. Is that the way to get better execution? "Not his fault" Joe, it's somebody's fault. A flyball is not a hit. It's a sacrifice. If you can't get players to execute sacrifices properly, then you will stay a crappy .500 team until you retire to oblivion in Flor-e-da.

However, Blake remained optimistic about the Dodgers' chances.

"Ask some of the great teams if they've ever gone through a spell like this," he said. "Good chance they have. You've got to stay confident, keep coming to the ballpark, expect to win. We'll be all right."

A spell? Listen,ya fkn unibomber, this ain't a spell. This is normal **** for this team on the road, or after a winning streak. Can't handle success. Gotta give it up like a cheap ho. Not champion material. No wonder Cleveland was crap this year.
