Wasn't, by all accounts, his Haskell visually unimpressive, getting left for dead on the turn, full out and under a savage right-handed whip, before finally reeling in a tiring allowance horse while drifting out considerably through the lane?

And yet, still, if you buy it, he got one of his best speed figures? Just think how good he would be with some time off and 4 good feet under him.

If he stays in training (I realize the plan is to retire him at the end of the year), he could end up finishing his campaign the way Touch Gold did (see the '97 Pegasus and BC Classic).

Aside from their ridiculous boasting, IEAH take a lot flack here because they are basically not doing right by Big Brown. They aren't giving him a shot to be the horse they claim he is (by not running him at 4) and his continued campaigning this year is somewhat reckless if you think he has significant physical problems (namely his quarter crack).
