I can't stand Bill Finley. Drug problems with horse racing are everywhere, to claim that harness racing is somehow cleaner is moronic. Last time I looked the guy that was leading the standings there is in jail for drugging. They didn't catch him through testing or a detention barn, simply b/c of a police sting based on obtaining illegal blood doping. So essentially the cheaters are always a step ahead. I'm sure the same thing is going on everywhere. Again, the way you can stop this is by freezing samples and being able to test years later with the threat of 5 year time bans....But nobody has the balls to do it.
