Kev, they shouldn't have these guys in a major golf tournament. Each year, one of them shoots a good round, and then blows up like a child with a disease. They shouldn't be taking spots that people on pro golf tours should have. There is a reason these guys aren't on pro tours.

Not if you weren't on a major golf tour. It's the stupidest thing I have ever seen(having people in major golf tournaments when they aren't even qualified to play on a major golf tour.) They should respect the effort these guys make to get onto major golf tours. If they belonged, then they would (once in a while) contend for the win, but they don't belong in the tournament, and they always get their a-s-s handed to them on the weekend.

VIJAY is getting humiliated on the short putts. That is an ugly visual, and (of course) they can't wait to televise it.

These are the toughest golf tournaments in the world. Common sense would tell you that you should be good enough to qualify to play on a major golf tour before you are eligible to play in a major golf tournament. There are plenty of regular pga tour events for non-tour players to get invited to play.

Scuds....those guys on tour play all year, every week. Club Pros work for a living.

Well, who pays for them to go up to Michigan and do this? Do they have a separate prize fund for them? Cuz they ain't gunna make the cut. Not one of the 20 is gunna make any money are they? Don't get me wrong. I ain't saying them or you can't play with these guys on the tour, but you would need to play n' practice like these tour players do. I guess I am asking what's the point of taking spots from tour players that could possibly compete for the win.

Would had loved to have the Silver Spoon like these Pros had....but I have to pay my own way also. Could had tried the local VFW to see if they could sponsor.

Its the PGA Championship...which means its OUR championship. Certain amount of slot are set aside every year for PGA Members...and that is the way it should be. The guys that aren't PGA Members have all year long to try and qualify for the tournament, we only have ONE event all year that we are able to qualify through. If those guys can't get in after having all year to qualify, TOUGH SH*T. The PGA Championship should always reserve spots for a limited amount of Club Pros to get in.
