"Trackfacts" is pretty lame, you can see Nick Kling pick 9 of the 11 morning line favorites every day if you just pick up a Saratogian. And "Down the Stretch" is very corny. The back and forths between Veich and Cusano are like a bad Abbot and Costello episode. You get the impression that there guests dont really want to be there. They never make any kind of selections or rational before a race, which is what the public wants. Nobody wants to see the replay of a race run 7 days prior, when they have already seen it 10 times.
The only show worth watching is the Mormino show (9am Sat & Sun) which is excellent. Hes got a personality, dresses nice and his rational and selections are both superb. He does have the tendency to gloat about his winners, but most people do. |

"Talking Horses" is a great show too, but I guess that doesnt count as a Capital OTB production seeing it is a NYRA thing. I like listening to Eric Donovan and Jason Blewitt. Really good guys.
